Sofia Menguita is an indie-pop and folk singer-songwriter based in Adelaide.
Sofia Menguita is a Filipino artist hailing from little old Adelaide, who started in tender, diary-entry folk and slowly turned up the glitter.
Her breakout came with “Everyone I’ve Ever Loved”, a song that escaped her bedroom walls and, powered purely by algorithmic momentum, reached bigger rooms, bigger crowds, and the world. It’s a song about the people who’s left a mark, and in reaching so many ears, it quietly reshaped her career too!
From there, “Still” signalled her leap into a brighter, bolder, hook-driven indie-pop sound, while still carrying the same emotional honesty that drew listeners in from the start.
Between 2023-present, she independently ran two headline tours through the East Coast, supported acts like Peach Fuzz at Howler, Esha Tewari, and Egoism, and played stages including WOMADelaide and Franjafest 3.
With her new single "If Anyone Asks" and an EP on the way, Sofia is building something heartfelt, sparkly, and entirely her own.
